This Sunday...

This past Sunday we were blessed to have the Konrad family visit us again.
And this time their daughter Kelsey shared with us about her missions work in Africa.
I can't remember the name of the place where she lives (and if I did
I don't think I could spell it even if I wanted to :). She works in an
orphanage with 22 kids and she is now trying to help a new orphanage
with children who have polio.

Thanks Kelsey for coming and sharing it was great to hear about how God is using you!

Can you guess what they are playing?

This week we taught Lauren how to play scum!

The Konrads' are actually the ones who got us Refugees hooked on scum.
For some reason these two didn't want there picture taken. Then the rest of the afternoon they had fun trying to steal my camera!

Practicing for zoo.

How many girls can you fit on a stump?

More games...

Here is Rachel, Christopher, Lindsay, and Halley.

They really liked to pose for my camera.
And I had allot of fun taking pictures of them! I hope you guys don't mind looking at pictures of cute kids...

This is what happens when the photographer is asked to watch kids at the park. :)

Spoolka! I'm terrible at playing spoolka so when Gab, and Katie had to leave
before the game was done I inherited all of their chips!
(The object of the game is to be the last player with chips.)

Visiting Jess, and Jamie...
Jamie was trying to steal the credit for all the hard work Jess did raking.

Later Jamie tried to ride this little bike that Jess and I found.
It didn't work!

It is so much fun watching the different flowers and trees at the
campground as they begin to bloom!

The things we find amusement in...

On Sunday Zoe was playing with these connector toys
and then she made a crown out of it.
When I took Zoe's picture she was afraid that I might
put it on the blog... (why would she think that ;)
So to make Zoe feel better I told here that I would take pictures of everyone wearing the crown!

Yeah! We got Katie to be weird with us!

What is a church without a Pastor to lead the congregation?
Jamie... Is just Jamie!

This scaring looking puppet is named Matilda. You never know where she'll show up!

Well we didn't get Mr. Rogers to wear the crown but he looked pretty good in the cowboy hat.

Like Kaleb's earrings?

I don't know if any of you know but this last weekend I found out that Marge is a clown, named Chuckles!

I've heard that in some countries the women wear rings around their neck to make their necks to make there necks longer because its a sign of beauty...

Well Jess you don't need to do that you're already beautiful! But it is fun getting you to do something strange!

I haven't put many pictures of Yoshi (I hope I spelt his name right!) on the blog so I took this picture... He posed perfectly for the picture and right after that he came over and looked at my camera like he was looking at the picture I just took! He is such a cute dog!

Easter Egg Hunt

Who says Easter Egg Hunts are only for Easter!

If some of the kids in these pictures don't look like your normal
Refugees that's because there not...
We were blessed to have the Conrad family visiting us!
(They have 15 kids!)

Melody had a whole bunch of little buddies!.

This next guy isn't one of the Conrads, for those of you who haven't met my nephew Camren yet here he is!

Isaac did you find the one you were looking for?

Some churches brag about having coffee shops and some brag about
their book stores but here at the Refuge we have a Hair Salon!

I told Mrs. Z : "Smile this might go on the blog!"
I got this face instead of a smile... I think I like this better!
What could we be playing here????
Sorry Jordan, I just had to take this picture...
Having fun with sunglasses...

What a cute smile!

Joy found a roll of paper towels in the back of my family's van...
She started to run around with it and having all kinds of fun!

The Twins, Reid, and Zoe all decided they didn't have enough fire after
the work day so they had fun finding leaves to build another one!
