Refuge Fieldtrip!

This past Sunday most of the Refugee's went on a fieldtrip (sorta).
We went to the Amboy Nursing Home.
We are going to be doing a church service every 4th Sunday!
How many people can you fit around a piano???
This was the first service so we were all a little nervous...
Well nervous isn't really the right word, pretty much we were
just being shy :) I don't really know why, we just were.
Had Dawn been holding all of us we would've been fine,
but she wasn't , so it was kind of a quiet service :)
The people really seemed to enjoy it (they especially
enjoyed Isaac and Kaleb).
We all put on big smiles as we were going in the doors,
and you know what? We had a great time!
Even Joschi got to go!
He did great too.
My dog would've freaked out and planted her caboose in a corner...
Its amazing how something that seems so small to us
could bless anyone. But we had people laughing, crying and smiling.
Sometimes its easy to think that we're making a difference only when
we do something big and noticeable, but really, its the small things
that matter. If our going and singing/praying with people at a little Nursing Home
made somebody happy, it was WAY worth it!
So, challange time!
Do something nice for someone that you
wouldn't normally think about.
It could just make their day...
