Visiting Merle

I thought you all would like to see how Merle is doing
so here are some pictures from last Friday when my family
went to see him.

It had been a while since 'Bop' had had a hair cut so
my Mom took her scissors and took care of that problem.

Dad was in the background making faces to try and make Bop smile
Bop said; "That's enough to make someone cry!"

Bop's new hair style. :)

This looks more like the Bop or Merle we know and love!

Bop are you ready for a fun ride?

The Twins and Reid made glove creatures to decorate the room
before we left.

For those of you who don't know...
Becky loves traffic cones so she was very excited to
find one before we left.

After visiting Bop we went with Drena and Reid to have supper.
While we were at the restaurant we commented that we should have
the waitresses sing to Drena because her birthday was the day before.
A few minutes later Mom left to use the restroom. We all teased Drena
that Mom went to ask the waitresses to sing. Well Mom came back and

not long after that some waitresses began gathering in a nearby corner

looking like they were being debriefed for an assignment. We couldn't

believe that Mom would ask them to sing for Drena! Mom denied it...

And then the waitresses started to sing but to the table right behind us!

We found out the little girl behind us had had a birthday a couple of days

before. We told our waitress that Drena had a birthday the day before so

she asked if we would like them to sing to Drena. Drena didn't like that idea

but said that they could sing so long as they sang to Dad instead...
So they did!

I know this has nothing to do with Merle but I thought it
made a funny story!

Staying Healthy

Lauren and Wolfgang decided to go see the Lees last week.
They were hoping to try and help cheer them up because they
were sick the last couple of weeks.

Lauren and Wolfgang were a little worried about getting sick
so we came up with an idea to try and keep them healthy. :)

Well now the Lees are all better, but I thought some of
you would enjoy these pictures.

Easter

Here is mostly every one as they were all dressed up for
Easter.
Joy didn't want to miss out in all the fun of getting her
picture taken.

The girls got out there cool sunglasses so the needed a cool background!

"Where is our photographer? It's cold out here!"

Rachel and the Easter Stick.

Last year on Easter when we took pictures Rachel grabbed a
stick and started to play with it and she now says that it is tradition to have an 'Easter Stick'.

Having fun all dressed up.

Our Hodgepodge Sunday

This past Sunday we were pleased to have Pastor Keith and his family join us.
Pastor John introducing Pastor Keith at the Refuge.

Nadja singing 'How Great Thou Art' in Portuguese.

These three studied together to become Pastors,
and now when they aren't doing something pastoral
they like to have fun together. :)
The three pastors and their wives, Tressa and fill-ins for the 'twins'.

Jason brought his new truck (Big Louie) on Sunday,
and after church everyone went for a ride.

Welcoming the campers.

No, Becky didn't drive! : )

Going for a walk...

?????????

Jason's ears were cold, so Melody tried to show him how
nice it is to have long hair.

Bubbles! bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. My Bubbles! (if that line doesn't make any sense to you, you should go watch Finding Nemo)
